Bucky Hayes has been professionally tending gardens and landscaping in south Brooklyn since 2007. A certified horticulturist, Bucky studied at Brooklyn Botanical Garden and became a certified permaculturalist in New York under Andrew Faust. With a great love for native plants and pollinators, Bucky is a student of all garden styles and prides himself on making each garden and every garden design unique to meet the needs and match the tastes of every individual customer.

B Hayes Gardens is so named in honor of Bucky’s Grandfather Byron Hayes who grew watermelon, corn, okra, and peas on his family plot in Central Georgia.
